二輛同款TOYOTA RAV4休旅車為測試物件,拆下裝置在車輛縱梁前端的吸能盒,改裝反沖器,其它結構不變,在臺灣ARTC車輛測試中心,進行二項實車碰撞測試,即正面100%碰撞及40%偏置碰撞測試,驗證裝置反沖器車輛與裝置吸能盒的同款車,在美國NCAP車測中心的測試成績做對比。
測試結果,裝置反沖器車輛,駕乘人員的安全指數大幅提升!
